“Our dog Ruger is a 2 year old lab/blue tick coon hound mix. He was rescued by Paws for Life and sent to Nellie for training to help make Ruger adoptable. We adopted Ruger in January 2021 and worked with Nellie in his advanced training. Ruger is now my off leash hiking buddy and fly fishing guide. It is enjoyable to watch Ruger being able to be a dog, in control and not easily distracted. He now socializes very well with other dogs and people. It is great to have confidence in a loving dog and a pleasure to be with him.
